Insect Creatures

Because of the planet’s extreme atmosphere, mammalian and avian life is only just beginning to evolve, leaving insects as the dominant life forms. High levels of methane (CHâ‚„) and carbon dioxide (COâ‚‚) drove them to evolve respiratory systems that inhale these gases and exhale COâ‚‚. With little competition in the animal kingdom, many insect species grew to human size or larger.

Bugman

The green insectoid known as Bugman is a weak and inefficient species. Its body separates ingested methane, carbon dioxide, and water into oxygen, water, and carbon, yet still exhales more COâ‚‚. This inefficient metabolism forces Bugmen to constantly eat or drink. They are generally malnourished, unintelligent, and fragile, but they reproduce rapidly, leading to vast populations. But they remain incredibly stupid, sometimes commiting suicide like flying into a volcano or drowning for no reason.

Bigbug

The Bigbug is a large, beetle-like predator that often feeds on Bugmen. Bigbug eats scraps and prey, but its size makes him incredibly lazy and unathletic. Which is why it often eats prey. Luckily for Bigbug, Bugmen often walk right up to him, with or without knowing it's about to die. Despite its powerful short and strong limbs, they are limited in dexterity, functioning in only two positions, relaxed or a thumbs up position. So if you shoot its limb and it gives you a thumbs up, he isn't saying he's fine with it, he's in incredibly intense pain and agony.
